This kit has been designed to give optimum performance with minimum recoil. Power of up 9 ft-lb with a light .22 pellet can be achieved without added recoil or preload. .177 users will typically see 7 – 8 ft-lb depending on pellet
More power is possible and the kit gives you the ability to do so, but this is the balance I think is right for the gun
